Uprising is a worship experience that was born in the hearts of several CSUSM students. The vibe will be laid back and the dress is casual. We will be a Christian community but we want to welcome all people of all beliefs and backgrounds. The purpose of uprising is to provide a worshiping community to the students of CSUSM

Our first week will feature singer/songwriter Kat Haddad. Kat has been playing clubs, concerts and coffee shops for the last 4 years. She was labeled by meltingpotlive.com as "the San Diego Scenes best kept secret" Kat will be leading us in worship and also playing a few of her originals

Our Speaker Pastor Shawn Beaty is formerly of the band Dogwood. Shawn has spoken at churches, camps and conferences all over the world. Sonny Sandovol from the band P.O.D. said that “Shawn is one of the most inspirational speakers I have ever seen.” Shawn’s message will be “God, what do I do with my life?”
